The 502s

On 20th November I was lucky enough to photograph The 502s and Darren Kiely in The Belfast Empire Music Hall.

What a concert.

Darren Kiely is an Irish artist from Cork and is currently on tour with The 502s.

I can say with confid

ence that he will be a major breakout folk artist in 2024. His latest album “Lost” released on 10th November and already you could see people singing every word along with him.

Not wrong.

I do not know how they keep their energy levels so high. Jumping around the whole time, a serious love and appreciation for the music they are making. It was an amazing concert to photograph and I feel very lucky to have gotten the experience.

I would recommend everyone to go and see The 502s, even if you do not like folk music, you will have a good time.

Anyway, here are some more of the photos that I got that night. I was only able to photograph the first three songs of each artist, but that was more than enough, I could barely keep up with The 502s!
